I have used R & S Mechanical for many years & always had excellent service. They installed my new air conditioning unit for me & totally satisfied. The service technician Hurley was masked & kept social distance from me. Had me read out my credit card number so no contact there. He was so professional & thanked me for using his company.

Curtis was quick, efficient, and professional. He was able to diagnose what was wrong with my HVAC unit within a minute of being on site, and he quickly fixed it—and believe me, every second you don’t have AC in this weather matters. Unlike other HVAC companies I’ve run into, R&S Mechanical was upfront with me and didn’t try to work me over when I had an issue. They also pointed out some things that will be helpful down the road while they were here (and there is no sale in those changes they pointed out—just a more enjoyable HVAC experience for me). They came recommended from a family member who had his house saved by them after a different company incorrectly “fixed” his unit and messed things up, and R&S fixed the other company’s “fix” and the original issue. Highly recommend!
The representative came by my house to do an estimate. He told me he went under the house but my mother said that he didn't go under the house for an inspection. The representative Hurley told me that my fan motor was burned out and he needed to change the duct work. He gave me an estimate of $4500.00. That made no sense to me! Why would I pay $4500 to fix a old unit when I could just purchase a new one. I felt like this company just tried to take advantage of people that don't know any better. We had another company do the work for $1000.00.
Tracey was terrific to work with. I'm extremely happy with the level of service provided and will be using R&S for all my needs now.
